AMTA Units are exploring the possibility of bringing some limited CEU ( 4 or 6 ) hours providers to their areas to help with the bi-annual requirement by the state for 24 CEU's per 2 year licensing period.  The Chapter arranges 12 hour CEU education events but generally near the Atlanta area.  See your Unit page for more information.
 Units
A Chapter may choose to establish sub-groupings of it's membership based on geographical locations which shall be called "Units."  A Unit should be a locality driven group for Massage Therapists that is to serve the members in their regional community.  A Unit should serve it's members in ways that the Chapter may not be capable of or cannot due to feasibility and distance.  The primary function a Unit serves is to afford members convenient access to each other for massage profession related activities and information.
